Welcome to Equine Therapeutic Touch USA!

Bodywork is a type of equine massage that involves hands-on, interactive techniques that the practitioner does  with  the horse, rather than  to  the horse.  Bodywork helps the horse move more freely, influences positive behaviors, and improves an overall sense of well-being.

Bodywork is beneficial for healthy performance and competitive equestrian disciplines, pleasure riding, and pasture pets.  It is not a substitute for veterinarian care.

Your veterinarian should be consulted if you are not confident your horse is healthy enough for massage or bodywork therapies.

For those horses that need a little extra TLC, Lori will work with your veterinarian to define a plan that is most appropriate for your horse's well-being.

Goals of Each Bodywork Session:

  • Alleviate built-up tension
  • Reduce soreness
  • Increase range of motion
  • Achieve incremental improvement each session
  • Leave the horse in a more relaxed state both physically and emotionally
  • Enhance agility, suppleness, and balance
  • Prepare your horse for performance - whether that is competition or trails
